Latest Site News: May 2, 2008: Another two video reviews prior to the onslaught of the Summer Blockbusters, one for the big-screen foray of The Simpsons Movie and another for the stylish thriller The Game starring Michael Douglas. April 25, 2008: Two more video reviews to wrap up the week, including one for the cult classic 1984 feature Dune (including an extended review) and one for the teen comedy American Pie 2. April 18, 2008: Two new video reviews are up this week, one for the direct-to-DVD animated comic-book adaptation of Justice League: The New Frontier and one for the '60's James Bond spoof Casino Royale. April 11, 2008: Posted a review of the George-Clooney directed slapstick romance Leatherheads, now playing in theatres, as well as a video review for the sci-fi action thriller Next starring Nicolas Cage. ... and updated the Now Playing and Coming Soon pages for the week. April 4, 2008: This week, two video reviews including the superb US modern horror remake The Ring and the light fluff action fare DOA: Dead or Alive. Here's a couple of reviews for this week: one for the camp-worthy pre-historic actioner 10,000 B.C. and another for the 1978 Kung-Fu classic The 36th Chamber of Shaolin. March 14, 2008: Another two video reviews for this week: one for the Will Ferrell comedy vehicle Blades of Glory and another for the true-crime biopic Hollywoodland starring Adrian Brody. February 29, 2008: Another three video reviews this time around: the cult classic vampire chiller Interview With the Vampire with Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise, the white-knuckle French thriller 13 Tzameti, and the ensemble drama Bobby. And, though it does miss the occasion by a good two weeks, I've added my favorite Valentine's Day films under the Top 20 Romantic Films, a new Top 20 list. February 22, 2008: Three video reviews up this week, including the stylish computer-animated sci-fi thriller Renaissance, the comic adaptation of Dick Tracy starring Warren Beatty, and the documentary My Architect. Rambo installment written, directed and starring Sylvester Stallone, now playing in theatres. That, and video reviews of the Quebec coming-of-age comedy / drama C.R.A.Z.Y. and the tween fantasy / drama Bridge to Terabithia. Plus, updated the Now Playing and Coming Soon pages for the week. February 8, 2008: A review for Juno, the sleeper comedy hit of the year, is up as well as video reviews of the crime classic The Godfather and the Indian sports flick Chak De! February 1, 2008: Put up a review of the political comedy Charlie Wilson's War starring Tom Hanks, now playing in theatres, plus a video review of the drama The Last King of Scotland with Forrest Whitacker. January 25, 2008: Added a review of the suspense drama No Country for Old Men, one of this year's leading Awards contenders, still playing in theatres, as well as a video review for the actioner Shooter starring Marc Wahlberg. January 18, 2008: Here's a trio of video reviews, including the adventure / comedy Night at the Museum with Ben Stiller, the low-key real-life spy thriller Breach starring Chris Cooper, and the cheesy comic-book adaptation of Ghost Rider with Nicholas Cage. Plus, updated the Now Playing and Coming Soon pages for the week. January 11, 2008: Put up a review for the family-friendly adventure National Treasure: Book of Secrets with Nicholas Cage.
